Contemporary Approaches to University Teaching MOOC

There is a module on WIL in the Contemporary Approaches to University Teaching MOOC. The module is situated in an Australian context and is primarily focused on universities and institutions of Technical and Further Education (TAFE), but it is also applicable to other institutions of higher learning and other countries and regions. The learning outcomes are:

  1. define WIL and explain the benefits to all stakeholders; and
  2. design an authentic and meaningful WIL learning activity and assessment.

The module is fully online and takes around two hours to complete. Under a CC Attribution-ShareAlike license, the content may be used in university professional development sessions, and the course content files can be provided to universities so that they can be imported into a Learning Management System and customised.
